Weiteveen Wetland Walking Centre in the Dutch province of Drenthe
Weiteveen Wetland Walking Centre was the brainchild of villagers who had the idea of offering expertly guided walks through the wetland in the Bargerveen nature reserve.
The Wetland Walking Centre invites you to discover what life was like for the nuns and pioneers of past ages in a village situated in the midst of the wetland. At the nearby nature information centre you can learn a lot about the fauna and flora of this unique area forming part of the province of Drenthe.
